Duties & Responsibilities

The job role requires providing legal support as Junior Paralegal – Contracts and be a key member of the Legal & Compliance team. The role will encompass reviewing contracts, issuing contracts for signatures, providing administrative support for the filing of contracts and any other relevant documents, updating records and trackers, provide support to the Contracts team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing a range of commercial agreements, including MSA, NDAs, and supplier contracts.
  • Working with other members of the Legal & Compliance team on a diverse range of legal areas such as corporate, commercial
  • Attending internal meetings with the in-house legal team and stakeholders and accurately recording minutes.
  • Preparing and issuing commercial contracts for signatures.
  • Updating online and offline filing systems (whenever required).
  • Providing administrative support and undertaking varied corporate work such as preparing board minutes, maintaining corporate registers and preparing filings.
  • Managing internal stakeholders effectively.
  • To provide regular reporting on progress to the Legal & Compliance team, identifying any impediments and proposed resolution.

  • Excellent communication skills, and confident in supporting other Legal & Compliance team members worldwide.
  • Detail oriented, strong organisational skills and able to take responsibility for own workload.

Qualification required for the role

  • You will have a legal background with specific experience of commercial contracts with at least 1 years of experience. Payroll industry, Professional Services, Legal Firms preferably.
  • A law degree or business law and/or LPC (or equivalent qualifications) is essential.
