Role summary

The Paralegal will be a key member of the Legal and Compliance function at Topsource Worldwide Group, a worldwide provider of EOR and Global Expansion services. The role involves researching the EOR licensing regulatory environment, reviewing requirements, legislation, and coordinating with local lawyers globally to assist TSW in the implementation of any required EOR Licensing requirements.

The Paralegal will be expected to operate within the parameters set by the Licensing & WP team leader, the Legal Operations Manager, and any other Legal & Compliance manager, as the case may be. This person is also expected to be flexible in the scope of work, as working in the Legal & Compliance team, we may require team members to work on different projects, in addition to and/or instead of their main duties.

Base location: India (Pune) 

Reports to: Legal Operations Manager


Responsibilities 

  • Researching and understanding the EOR licensing regulatory environment.
  • Reviewing requirements and legislation related to EOR services.
  • Coordinating with local lawyers globally.
  • Assisting in the implementation of EOR Licensing requirements.
  • Expediting and coordinating with the team the issuance of Work Permits (WP) for clients, either directly or indirectly through in-country partners.
  • Handling other requirements that the entities pertaining to the TSW group may have

Qualification required for the role

  • Law degree
  • Experience in research
  • Experience in EOR services
  • Experience in coordination of Work Permits
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously with the Licensing & WP team leader, operating within the parameters provided.
  • Used to working in a buzzing environment and can deliver in a timely manner as client requirements can be time sensitive.
  • Highly organized and a quick learner, as our environment is fast-paced and companies in our industry tend to change given market trends and demands.
