Role summary
The role of a Senior Associate is to ensure that the tasks assigned are completed on time, accurately and completely and understanding the promised service to client(s). The candidate is also responsible for following all the agreed processes and procedures diligently and without any requirement for follow-up from the line manager, including, attending all training programs assigned, periodic team meetings, feedback sessions and to seek clarifications where the process or deliverables are unclear.
Candidates must ensure that their attendance is regular, and absences are planned.
The Senior Associate reports into the Team Leader and is required to escalate issues to their direct line manager related to client servicing.
Base location: India (Pune)
Reports to: Senior Manager - Global Payroll
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand client inputs/requirements and calculate payroll accordingly
- Closely engage with client’s team to effectively manage payroll
- Manage client relationship(s)
- Coordinate with internal relevant teams for managing internal activities/processes related to payroll
Key Attributes & Skills
- Motivated, self-initiator individual with high level of integrity, intensity, and activity with a can-do attitude
- Disciplined process-oriented work style
- Able to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work independently in a team.
- Should be able to inter-relate international tax laws once the training is provided.
- Preference would be given to candidates who have experience in working in international environment and who can join immediately or in a short notice.
Qualification required for the role
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in end-to- end payroll processing and management.
- Should have good written and spoken English.
