Role summary

An L&D Lead will be responsible for assessing organization wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identify and suitable training solutions for employees. This position will require the need to design and implement methods that are effective to enhance performance.

Base location: India (Pune) 

Reports to: HR Head India


Responsibilities 

  • Helping the organization meet its objectives by developing & implementing high-impact learning & development programs in line with business needs and priorities.
  • Establish strong partnerships with the business to gain a strong understanding of current business issues and opportunities, as related to learning and development.
  • Conduct organizational needs analysis and create training plans to ensure that all employees have the required competencies to excel in their roles.
  • Reviewing and revising course materials to ensure they align with operating processes, procedures and systems.
  • Delivering training to various parts of the business and working with various stakeholders to coordinate and organize training sessions.
  • Collecting feedback on completed training to evaluate and measure results and make improvements where required.
  • Conducting training trainer workshops to ensure training, scalability, and effectiveness
  • Sourcing and recommending vendors and other external partners to design, develop, and/or deliver learning solutions where applicable.
  • Managing the Learning & Development budget.
  • Defining and leading projects focused on continuous improvement.
  • Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of platform/media.
  • Trains and coaches People managers & supervisors in employee development efforts.
  • Develops and maintains organizational communication such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
