Role summary
The Team Leader is responsible for Service delivery of General Ledger processes & reporting. The other responsibilities of Team Leader are - Project Management, Managing teams, Training\Development\Performance appraisal of team members, Managing quality, System testing.
Hours of Work: Morning Shift – 6.30 AM to 2.30 PM or Afternoon Shift – 2.30 PM to 10.30 PM (Flexibility will be required to reflect the global nature of the business and need to support clients across multiple time zones).
Base location: India (Pune)
Reports to: Senior Manager - GL
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle General Ledger activities, finalization of accounts & Reporting.
- Perform Quality Check, investigate discrepancies and provide 3C.
- Ensure Services are delivered as per the SLA\Deadlines.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationship.
- Update the process documentation and delivery schedules to reflect the current processes.
- Manage General Ledger Team.
- Guide and Assist team in resolving issues on domain or systems.
- Conduct Internal Training Programs, Cross trainings, complete training for new joiners.
- Review performance of the team and take appropriate corrective actions to maintain efficiency level.
- Suggest Innovations & Automations and Participate in UAT.
- Email Management - Managing day to day Emails Internally\Externally.

Desired Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience
- B.Com
- Experience in General Ledger process.
- Advance Excel skills
- Accounting Software Proficiency
- Candidates who have worked in BPO/KPO, ITES, Accounting Industry would be added advantage.
