What is an EOR?

An employer of record (EOR) is an organisation that can hire and pay employees on behalf of another business, whether nationally or internationally. The Employer of Record is responsible for all HR tasks, such as immigration, payroll and employment, ensuring compliance and efficiency are achieved without a business setting up a local entity in a new territory.

Keeping in mind that employment regulations vary drastically from country to country, our role as the EOR service provider is to take on the responsibility of everything to do with officially employing you — from tax and payroll to compliance with local and national laws.

On paper, we act as your primary employer, but you’ll still complete your day-to-day activities for our client. In short, you’ll be like any of their other employees, delivering your job responsibilities to the business.

What can we do for you?

We are a global organisation, so wherever you are in the world, we can ensure you have a compliant employment contract, receive all of your statutory benefits, and pay your salary and tax in line with local regulations.

In addition, we work with you and our client to ensure the offer you receive is the best fit for you. In most cases, we will be able to offer medical and dental packages, other additional benefits and compliant bonus and commission solutions.

What does onboarding look like?

Once we have been given the go-ahead from our client, we will reach out to you to introduce ourselves and a dedicated member of our global support team who will guide you through your onboarding. You will also be given access to our bespoke HRIS Portico EOR portal and asked to provide a few documents to get started.

We will also work with our client on the initial draft of your contract, and once that is complete, it will be shared with you for review and comment or signature.

Once you have signed your contract, our global support team will guide you through the remaining steps of your onboarding by requesting any final documentation, registering your employment with the local authorities (labour, social security, etc.), and setting up any additional benefits.

When your onboarding is complete, we will arrange a final call with you to answer any outstanding queries you might have and advise you on our processes going forwards.

How can TSW support you?

We offer a full HR service to ensure the rights and well-being of each of our employees. So as one of our employees, we’ll be here to support you throughout your career with us; as a standard, we will pay your salary each month, maintain any benefits packages you might have, and we’ll update you on changes to regulations that might affect you as an employee.

Beyond that, we are here for you, so whether you have a small query or major concern, we are always here to help you get an answer, find a solution, or chat about it.
