Role summary
The Country HR Partner is a key member of our client services team working to deliver a high-quality HR business partner service for our clients and their employees.
Your primary objective will be to take ownership of all global HR issues including case-by-case HR advisory services including terminations, performance management, disciplinaries, and employment contracts; and to deliver excellent and accurate documentation to our clients and their prospective employees.
You will need to be a HR superstar who can work collaboratively and ethically with our clients and employees to help guide them through the international hiring process. You will be viewed by our clients as an extension of their organization and relied upon to deliver important day-to-day HR services.

Roles & Responsibilities
- HR Business Partner Support to Clients
➢ To process all employee relations queries from clients and deployees as required by the laws of the relevant country and building ongoing relationships with clients through provision of expertise and coaching on specific deployed scenarios.
➢ Support on all terminations scenarios (dismissal, redundancy, performance, capability/long term sick) across all the territories we operate in.
➢ Support the management of long-term sick in line with laws of that country
➢ Answering all maternity/paternity queries
➢ Support the management of poor performance including attending performance meetings, with a view to giving our client options which addresses their requirements, whilst also limiting our liability. - Full contract management and deployee life-cycle support
➢ Responsible for ensuring our covering letters are correct and read professionally.
➢ Responsible for all document template management.
➢ To assume overall responsibility for drafting, issuing, and revising compliant dual-language (where required) contracts of employment and supporting documentation in line with company policy with zero drop-off rate, meeting all Global HR Generalist team SLAs.
➢ Review of cost to employ calculations and creation of client payment schedules.
➢ When required, liaise with our partner countries to ensure the level of service we receive is consistent and allows us to ensure the level of service we offer our clients is to our standards.
➢ Drafting contract addendums, extensions and additional documentation as required and compliantly to ensure the contract of employment meets our clients’ requirements and employment law in that country.
➢ Reviewing requests for additional clauses and ensuring client is aware of any additional cost these may bring, and advising on the enforceability of such requests.
➢ Draft resignation acknowledgment letters
➢ To support the client in low volume (as per company guidelines) resign and rehire situations and create supporting documentation. - Collaboration
➢ Work as part of a global team, engaging and collaborating with colleagues in other business functions
➢ To support the Global HR Manager, Client Relationship Managers, and onboarding teams, and raise and advise on all HR matters for clients, employees and directors.
➢ To continually update standard operating procedure and country guideline documentation outlining contractual rules and statutory provisions in each country we operate in (circa 65 territories) for internal use.
➢ Liaising with internal Legal and Compliance to seek the necessary advice on complex issues.
➢ Helping to support our sales and client success teams by answering queries they have had from potential clients or current clients looking for additional services.

Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business experience with significant operational HR experience (international business preferred).
- Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience relating to HR.
- Strong understanding of contracts and employment law.
- Coaching qualification would be an advantage
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Highly technology literate, including Microsoft Office suite and CRM (Portico EOR and HubSpot).
- Understanding of GDPR in terms of HR-related processes
- Second language a distinct advantage
- International/global experience desirable
