Role summary
The Senior Analyst FP&A role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the FP&A Manager and the dynamic Pune-based Finance Shared Services team. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the internal and external reporting needs of a rapidly expanding international group, showcasing financial prowess and leveraging innovative dashboards and KPI packs. Aspiring candidates will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and streamline data collection processes across diverse P&L domains.
Moreover, this role offers the chance to delve into monthly P&L performance analysis and actively monitor Balance Sheet figures and Working Capital movements, shaping the financial landscape of the organization with strategic insights and forward-thinking initiatives.

Reports to: Manager - FP&A
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collate critical internal data and execute daily tasks to manage KPIs and produce analysis decks.
- Utilize data from financial and non-financial systems to support analysis and reporting, both regular and ad-hoc.
- Demonstrate proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel to effectively present findings and insights.
- Show willingness to learn new skills, platforms, and procedures to adapt to evolving business needs and technologies.

- Defining new data collection and analysis processes.
- Serve as a gatekeeper for an organization’s data so stakeholders can understand data and use it to make strategic business decisions.

- Reporting / collaboration with stakeholders.
- Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business.
- A commitment to creating high-quality content, with a clear focus on analysis that can drive action.
- Present ad hoc reports as well as evaluate in timely manner.
- Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Qualification required for the role
- Finance background with suitable professional qualification.
- At Least 3 years of proven Data Analyst/MIS experience.
- Good knowledge of NetSuite Modules with strong understanding of functional processes would be added advantage.
- Data science certification and experience with Power Pivot/PowerBI/Tableau/Smart View preferred.
- Likely to be Qualified/semi-qualified CA/ICWA/CPA/CFA/MBA from a reputed institute.
- Likely to have worked in an international business and dealt with stakeholders based outside of India.
