The EOR holds the employment contract and handles payroll, tax and compliance, while you direct the employee’s day-to-day work. Companies use an EOR to hire quickly in new markets, employ remote talent where they have no presence, or convert contractors to employees — without setting up a local entity.
With an EOR, you retain day-to-day control while the provider handles legal and HR compliance.
