Salary income tax withheld at source is withheld from each employee’s pay and remitted to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Payroll in Pakistan includes Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) and provincial social security institutions, funded by employer and (where applicable) employee contributions.
